Mechanical and analytical characterisations |
| A
wide range of mechanical testing capabilities are offered for
thermoplastics and thermosetting materials such as Tensile, Flexure,
impact, shear and nano-indentation. |
| Nanoforce
Technology operates a 10kN load frame testing station with the
latest non-contacting extensometer. The extensometer allows the
characterisation of delicate specimens where other
"traditional" telemetry cannot be used. Applications
include thin films, foils, tapes and fibres. A wide range of grips
and an environmental chamber allow testing of many material types in
a variety of environments to the highest level of precision,
accuracy and reproducibility.
With a resolution of
1 m and maximum follow speed of 500mm/min the extensometer complies
with ASTM D 638 and ASTM D 882 standards for the tensile testing of
thermoplastics.
